Day by day

Day 1

Arrival in Guangzhou

Meet the guide and driver for the airport pickup and private transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is reserved for rest, a practical orientation and settling in close to the hotel.

Day 2

From Yuexiu to the old trading quarters

Start in Yuexiu Park and climb Zhenhai Tower for a long view over the city’s history, then study the roof sculpture and folk craft of the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. Continue through Yongqingfang and Shamian before the arcades, snacks and evening energy of Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street.

Day 3

Choose a Chimelong park and see the circus

Choose either Chimelong Safari Park or Chimelong Paradise for a self-guided day with private transfers; the animal park option should be selected only if its current welfare practices meet the group’s expectations. Reconvene for the Chimelong International Circus, using the reserved VIP seating when available.

Day 4

How Guangzhou’s wholesale economy works

Choose two or three wholesale categories—such as clothing, footwear and bags, electronics, accessories, tea or cosmetics—and visit them with a driver and guide. The day focuses on market structure, quality checks and practical sourcing rather than an indiscriminate shopping loop, followed by a 60-minute foot massage.

Day 5

Foshan heritage through food and movement

Travel to Foshan for the Ancestral Temple, Lingnan Tiandi and Bruce Lee Ancestor’s House, linking martial traditions with the architecture of the region. Taste a considered selection of Shunde specialties—such as double-skin milk, dressed fish skin, rice porridge and wok dishes—without forcing every item into one meal.

Day 6

Morning tea and the Pearl River after dark

Begin with a proper Cantonese morning-tea meal, sharing several dim sum dishes at an unhurried pace. Walk Beijing Road, continue to Canton Tower and its Bubble Tram if operating conditions suit, then close the journey with a Pearl River night cruise.
